Books I Recommend

Ive been growing for 12 years in January, but i didn't just make up these techniques. Ive actually read a whole lot of books.  I experimented with allot of the ideas & techniques I read , kept and improved on the ones that worked and set aside the ones that didn't.   Ive summarized a narrowed down list of books I think are super valuable and worth checking out.

 Improving your sorrow by Keith Reid

"Improving Your Soil" by Keith Ried explains the fundamental aspects of soil, its formation, and its purpose. The book goes into the essentials of soil without focusing on cannabis or indoor grow mediums. I feel like It provides an understanding of soil composition, structure, and its role in supporting plant life. Even though indoor mediums are not mentioned, I feel this is a valuable resource and it helped me understand what is needed and most important in a soil mix.

Mycorrhizal planet by Chelsea Green

"Mycorrhizal Planet" by Chelsea Green goes deep into the the symbiotic relationship between plants and mycorrhizal fungi in the soil. The book is not centered around cannabis or indoor grow mediums, but it does provides a detailed understanding of mycorrhizal fungi, their role in soil health, and their interactions with plant roots. It explains the web of connections in the soil ecosystem, and  vital role of mycorrhizal fungi in supporting plant growth and overall soil health. The book also contains great tables that showcase companion plants, as well as other useful information 

JADAM organic farming by Youngsang Cho

"JADAM Organic Gardening" by Youngsang Cho is a  guide to organic gardening and has plenty of information applicable to indoor organic gardening. The book has step-by-step instructions on creating homemade liquid fertilizers, harvesting local microorganisms, and making homemade pesticides. It focuses on natural and sustainable practices, making it a valuable resource for indoor gardeners looking for cost-effective and environmentally friendly approaches to cultivating.

Teaming with microbes by Jeff Lowenfells

"Teaming with Microbes" by Jeff Lowenfels is a deep exploration of the world of soil microbes and their role in supporting plant health. The book goes into the symbiotic relationships between plants and soil microorganisms, their significance for overall soil fertility and plant vigor. It does not focus on cannabis cultivation, but does provides valuable informatin applicable to a wide range of plants.

True living organics by The Rev

True Living Organics" by "the Rev" is a  guide to living organics.  It offers valuable information into organic cultivation methods. The book effectively explains living organics, although I do not agree with all Ideas and techniques. For example, the author recommends cooking the soil, but I have personally found success without doing this. Overall, the book provides a great understanding of organic cultivation, making it a valuable resource.

Organic marijuana, Soma style by Soma

"Organic Marijuana, Soma Style" is a  guide to organic cultivation. But I feel like it has some dated ideas and techniques. Some of the techniques do not seem entirely organic to me.   The book still one of the most valuable sources of information. 

Marijuana horticulture by Jorge Cervantes

"Marijuana Horticulture" by Jorge Cervantes stands as one of the original and influential books on the subject, and Jorge Cervantes is widely recognized as an OG, influential figure in the field of marijuana cultivation. However, while acknowledging its greatness, I believe that some aspects of the book may be outdated, and the organic section lacks depth. The book still remains a valuable resource.
